Mini Getaway

Is it just me or is Autumn the busiest time of the year? I love fall but man oh man! My husband and I have been jam packed with birthdays, anniversaries and various other events. It sneaks up on us every year and by New Years we are just beat. I can't help but love it though!
This year, my mom, sister and I decided to take a mini getaway to the Torrey Pines Lodge & Spa. It was much needed for us girls and very well deserved. Can I just say it was the coziest, charming atmosphere? The hotel was the model for The Grand California Hotel in Disneyland California Adventure. It was amazing! It smelled like Christmas and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to take a mini getaway or even an extended stay. The spa was amazing as well. It gave us the boost we needed to tackle this Holiday season!

Exploring

This weekend Jimmie and I decided to explore Julian, CA. Living in southern California has its pros and cons. One con being, it's not the best for watching the foliage change for the fall. That being said we got in our car and drove...and drove and drove to Julian. It was refreshing to feel the crisp air once we got there and explore this cute little town. These booties were incredibly comfortable for the the walking (uphill and downhill) we did!
